![]() I asked Ruth Red Eagle, a Reiki master and healer, “When did you know you were psychic?” Ruth answered, “When did I NOT know?” Ruth was born into a family with traditional values. Her mother was Catholic and her father was Mormon. Both were very structured. Ruth added, “When they had this beautiful bouncing baby girl who showed up shining, feeling everything, seeing everything, and knowing everything, it freaked them out. It scared the crap out of them.” When she was four or five years old, her father took her to a psychic and had blocks put in her third eye and the base of her skull. The psychic assured her father that Ruth would be “normal” now. This experience told Ruth that her gifts were not acceptable. She had to close them down. Ruth explained, “Throughout my life, it’s been a tug of war. My mind and spirit say, ‘I want to be psychic. I want to work on this.’ The other part of me, with the childhood stuff, says, ‘That’s dangerous. You can’t do that. That’s a bad thing.’ My whole life has been that back and forth. You move two inches forward and an inch backward, then two more inches forward. It’s been hard. “For the last couple of years, Spirit has been telling me it’s okay. ‘You need to call this back in and be who you truly are. It’s okay for people to see you and know who you really are: a Medicine Woman, a healer, a helper. A steward of the earth and of humanity.’” Hoping for a happy ending, I asked, “When you are born into a family with two straight-laced parents, what is the story?” I thought she would say that she had enlightened her parents. Instead she answered: “Abuse. Abuse, abuse, abuse. Abuse. It was hard for them to understand. They could not control what was happening with me. I had physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and spiritual abuse. Everything you can imagine. I had a father, an older brother, and my mother. My brother was like, ‘Oh, this is the way you treat girls. This is the way you treat women.’ I became evil incarnate in his mind.” Ruth added, “My parents divorced when I was around seven. After that, I lived with my mother. She was very controlling. It was not okay for me to be free and to be who I was. She put a lot of barriers around me.” “As a human being growing up on this planet, you think this is normal. You start drawing that ugliness into your life because that is your normal. It’s taken time for me to come back to that innocent spirit I’ve always had inside. It’s always been there. Thank you, Lord, it’s never left me. I’ve always felt that connection, even through the darkness. “I remember a time when I was so sad and so hurt that I thought, ‘Please G-d, take me home. Let me go home. Can I go home?’ Spirit answered, ‘No. You are going to be here for a long time. The world needs you.’ “All of those experiences created a tremendous amount of compassion, understanding, patience, acceptance, and forgiveness. I learned about forgiveness because there had been so many intense experiences.” I asked, “How could you forgive them?” Ruth answered, “I know that they didn’t know the truth of who I was. Or even who they were.” “The cool thing that has happened because of that is that ancestors who have passed on have come to me and thanked me for being who I am and doing this work. I have healed ancestral lines through my work. That’s huge. “Now, I am so happy because I am doing what I know I am supposed to be doing. Things are changing. I can go into other realms and dimensions very easily. I’ve always been able to do that. I feel like I’ve been teaching kindergarten most of my life. Now, I’m going to be teaching college. I’m stepping up from a different vibration. We are going to be taking quantum leaps. The people who are coming to see me and others of us, are going to be bumped up. Their energy is going to be stronger, more fluid. They are going to release things which don’t serve them. They are going to understand why things have happened in their lives. “I bring a big perspective. As humans, we see ourselves on this tiny globe and we think this is all there is. We divide the Earth into continents, then get smaller and smaller. Spirit is telling me, ‘No. You’ve got to expand. It’s time to start being okay with being light.’” “I am a free spirit, wild flower, hippie girl who runs through the fields. I have to be. I’ve always been that. Even when my parents told me I couldn’t be like that, I was still that person on the inside. It oozes from the pores of my body. I have so much light within because of who I was created to be. I think more people will be drawn to me because they recognize my spirit.” Thank you, Ruth, for sharing your story of overcoming adversity. However, when I say something like, “I see you going east,” that’s all I have in my head. There isn’t anything more to the reading until I say it. If I don’t say it, spirit won’t give me anything else.” On Channeling - “Once you are down [in your meditation], demand that a person come and that you see them. Say you want all the information to come through a G-d consciousness. When they step up to speak, you start speaking. As you get deeper into the topic, you will find that they start coming out with information. It’s very subtle.” “The words which come out of your mouth will slowly morph into a kind of dialogue that you don’t usually use. Don’t judge anything. Turn off your judgement.” “The more you do it, the better you get.” Susan A. Sampson You can contact Susan via e-mail: [email protected] ![]() Announcement: This Sunday, June 2, 2019, is the Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair. The Fair will be at the DoubleTree Inn at 445 South Alvernon Way in Tucson, AZ. Hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. I hope to see you there! Out of my Mind Earlier this month, I asked Vee how she figured out she was psychic. She told me that hadn’t realized she was psychic until someone told her that was the case. Until then, she had thought she crazy. Vee said: “I thought I was mentally ill. I dressed up in a business suit, packed my bags, and went to a mental institution. I said, ‘I’m crazy.’ They said, ‘You’re not crazy because you dressed yourself. We deal with people who have forgotten how to tie their shoes.’ I appreciated hearing that I wasn’t crazy, but wondered why I kept hearing male voices. I studied things like schizophrenia because I thought that’s what I had. “One day, a co-worker and I were at a conference and she brought up the topic of psychics. She told me that she knew a psychic. Then, this woman told me that I was psychic. I told her she was crazy. She started explaining her gifts. My jaw dropped. ‘Is that what that’s called?!’ ‘Is that what I do?’ “She introduced me to my first psychic gig. She was the lead psychic at this place. I took a picture of my space because I wanted to document it. I knew it would never happen again – boy was I wrong! “I read 11 people that day. I went home – it was an hour away. Someone asked if I did readings over the phone. I had no idea, but I said, ‘Sure, I do.’ I was right. I started reading over the phone. Within a month, I was national. Someone would call someone who would call someone. Checks arrived in the mail. That’s how it started. “I was invited to do psychic fairs. One was a traveling show over the weekend – Saturday and Sunday. It was serious. Maybe 50 psychics. I would do something, then run to someone who would tell me what it was called. I wrote it down. That’s how I discovered I could do psychometry, and that I was clairvoyant and clairaudient.” Vee wasn’t crazy. She was gifted. Most months, you can find Vee at the Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair in Tucson. You can also call her at 520-232-1122, or contact her through her website, www.PsychicVEE.com. Gail [email protected] P.S. Vee has done some amazing readings for me! ![]() Quote from a Psychic - Out of My Body “One of my earliest memories was when I was two or three years old. I was out of my body, looking down, watching myself talk to nobody. I was up in the corner of the room, looking down on myself. I saw myself having a conversation. I was alone in the room. I don’t know who I was having a conversation with. “I was sitting in my room quietly having a conversation with nobody else in the room. I didn’t understand what happened until I got older. I realized I had had an out-of-body experience. “I remember thinking that I was having a very important conversation. No other physical person was there. I think there was a spirit. It might have been my grandmother. When I am talking right now, my grandmother Myrtle’s voice and name keep coming through. I never gave it too much thought, but as we are sitting here talking, I realize it might have been my grandmother. She was gone before I was born.” Onae Onae is a Tarot card reader and a Medium. You can call Onae at 651-600-6840, or find her on Facebook. ![]() I asked Enza Piazza what she does at the Psychic Fair and how she figured out she was psychic. She answered these questions and several more. Enza explained, “I am a Medium. I work with Guides and angels. I am also clairvoyant. I can see into someone’s situation, or their home, or the place where something happened (or is going to happen). When someone gives me permission, in my mind, I can see what is happening in their life. Spirit helps me look into the situation and give them a road map to fix the problem.” Enza added, “I took a paranormal class at Pima Community College. The professor took four of us out of the class. He gave us three people in the U.S., in different states. At a certain time, we had to give an outline of what we saw about these people. I scored 98%. That blew me away. I could see what they were doing.” I asked, “How did you figure out you were psychic?” Enza replied, “I realized it very young. At the age of three, I saw things. As I got older, my mom was a little concerned. I would tell my mom and my family what I saw. They would tell me I was dreaming or not getting enough rest. “My mom took me to a doctor who told her that, physically, there was nothing wrong with me. They looked deeper. At one point, my mother found a naturopath who said, ‘Your daughter is psychic.’ I was 12. My mom was not having this – we were Catholic. I was in a Catholic school. I wanted to be a nun. “As time progressed, I surrendered. I remember being places and having Spirit tell me things to tell people. I was in the ER with someone and I was getting messages left and right about the people. It was overwhelming. I finally said, ‘Okay.’ “After my cousin passed away in 2009, I went to a counseling group for people who were grieving. I received such clear messages that the counselor set up a room for people to see me before going into their counseling session. I was there for spiritual closure. I did the spiritual end and the counselor did the physical end. It was powerful. “For 22 years, I had adult care homes. I offered hospice in my home. I helped people cross over. I was there 24 hours a day, for as long as it took to transition into death. I would do the last rites and then the bath. I had no idea that in the Jewish faith there was a person dedicated to giving a ritual bath. I was told what to do and how to give these baths. It was pretty amazing. It prepared them for their transition. Prepared them to go to the other side. Leaving this body clean and fresh, and ready to go.” Of course, I had to ask, “Did you see the soul leave the body?” Enza answered, “Yes. When they take the last breath, I have seen a mist leave the body. It’s gone. People think of death as being such a hard thing, but it’s actually beautiful. There is a fruity smell at the end. It’s the body shutting down and the spirit moving on. It makes a full circle. Closure. In an instant, people leave this earth. The body says, ‘I’m done’ and the spirit goes. “I had one lady take off her covers and start walking. I asked, ‘Where are you going?’ She said, ‘I’m leaving.’ Three deep breaths – gone.” I asked if this gift ran in her family. Enza replied, “I don’t know. I’m full blown Sicilian. I think there might be some gypsy in our background. I’ve always had a gypsy lifestyle. We moved around quite a bit, back and forth from Europe to Tucson or to New York. “I was brought to Tucson. I was going to work in Lily Dale, NY. I was going to have a mentor. Spirit told me, ‘Don’t do it.’ They said no.” I questioned, “They wanted you to do it on your own?” Enza replied, “Yes. I launched out. I opened a store on Ft. Lowell and it’s going quite well.” Thank you, Enza, for these insights! If you want to find Enza, she has a shop on First Avenue between Glenn and Ft. Lowell, 5034 N. First Avenue. You can contact her at [email protected], or call 520-576-6870. Most months, Enza is at the Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair. Gail [email protected] ![]() I asked Karreen about her artwork, pendulum work, bodywork, massage, and other activities. How do these things all come together? Karreen answered: “Everything is fun. Bodywork is fun. Art is fun. People say that I work so much. I think I have fun. I like teaching chakra classes. I also teach classes on emotional weight loss. I teach people how to heal themselves when they feel tired or in a funk. I show them how to bring themselves back up when they feel down. “Everything has energy. Healing, teaching a class, and making art create the energy which shifts people. That’s what it’s all about – energy medicine. Maybe they speak that language through crafts or through body sessions. “When I did nails, I learned that some people would only come to me for nails. When I did skin care, they would never come for nails. When I did massage, they would only get a massage, but not do acupuncture. I had to figure out their language so I could communicate. Some people would take classes, but would never do Tarot readings. Their language was different. All these things shift a person’s vibration.” I summarized, “Some people won’t do body work, but they will do crafts and when they do crafts you can work with them energetically. These are all different entrances into the energy world.” All these different modalities lead to one thing: shifting energy and raising a person’s vibration. Thank you, Karreen, for helping me understand how your work, works. You can find out more about Karreen on her website, www.karreenandco.com. ![]() Pepper M. Freye was a new reader at May’s Psychic Fair. I asked what she offered at the Fair. She answered, “One of the things I do is numerology. I have been doing it for about 25 years. There is an energy when people say their name. In numerology, every letter has a number value.” She went on to tell me that the letters in my name, G-A-I-L, indicated that I was putting wisdom out to the universe, that I am unique and different, that I have integrity, and that I have a creative way of doing things. Thanks, Pepper! Pepper said that when she speaks in a group, she picks someone at random, asks their name, and tells them who they are. People are excited and surprised at the accuracy of her readings. Pepper remarked, “You have a formula for your name and that is your purpose in life. You also have a destiny with your birth date. There are layers and layers. It goes deeper and deeper. Numerology is a 2000 year old study which is unbelievably accurate. I’ve had fun with it.” In addition to gleaning information from names, Pepper also helps people name their businesses. She noted that the day you start a business is very important. Certain numbers correlate with money and the blooming of success. You also want to make sure you dovetail with the business, otherwise it is going to leave you behind. I asked if Pepper had always been intuitive. She answered: “I was doing commercial design in corporate America. In 1991, there was a car accident. I felt like I passed over and came back. I had been going one way in life. After the accident, I went the spirituality route. I kept getting deeper and deeper into the values of life. All of the sudden, this incredible intuitive talent showed up. I attributed it to a re-alignment of me. “A near-death experience changes things, big time.” After the NDE, she changed her name to Pepper, noting that that was an ordainment from the Divine. Everything shifted. Pepper echoed the view Jesse Anne Nichols George had shared with me several years ago, “When you change your name, everything changes.” Pepper provided this example: “When you get married and take a husband’s name, six months later you might ask, ‘Where am I? Who am I? How did I get here?’ It’s an identity shift. ‘I’m not living my life for me any more.’ “A lot of people come to me and say they don’t know what to do. We work with that. We shift things. Their lives change for the better. They remove blocks. You don’t want to pick up someone else’s karma or blocks just by changing your name.” Thank you, Pepper, for letting us know a little bit about what you do and who you are. You can contact Pepper at 760-638-1111, or send an e-mail to [email protected]. Gail [email protected] ![]() At the last Psychic Fair, two psychics told me that as they were learning about their abilities, they had no idea what to call these skills. There are names for skills such as seeing images and hearing words. Today, I’m posting the Psychic Skills Checklist from “My Psychic Search” book. See which ones you can check off. Psychic Skills Checklist Psychics are born with a variety of natural skills which often include the ability to see or hear information. In addition, psychics can learn new skills like Reiki (a way to channel energy) and can also learn to use tools, such as Tarot cards and crystal balls. Below, is a list of the skills mentioned by the psychics. To get a clear picture of someone’s abilities, ask them which gifts they use. Source? The Divine? The Creator by any name? ![]() I hear two philosophical approaches to creating our lives. These approaches sound like opposites: “Set your intention and know where you are going,” versus “Don’t have expectations.” How do you set an intention and not have expectations? Setting your intention is about dreaming big and putting your desires out to the Universe. Not having expectations is about letting things flow according to a plan we can’t see. In addition, when we expect something, we might be disappointed. When we keep our expectations low, we can be pleasantly surprised. I asked Karreen Martin what she thought about expectations. She answered, “If you have no expectations, nothing happens.” She prefers to set an intention and expect that her intention will manifest. I asked Kathy McMillan about this topic too. Kathy noted that part of manifesting is “not pushing.” You allow. You are in the vibration of allowing something to happen. If it’s meant to be, it will be. She went on to channel: “It’s very simple. Don’t make it complicated.” “Focus on what you have, not what you don’t have. Be thankful that you have that. Be satisfied with that and eager for more. Satisfied where you are and eager for more. “Be open to new adventures, to new paths, to new manifesting. Allow. You can’t force anything. You have to allow and you have to be a vibrational match to what it is you are trying to manifest. It’s very easy. Once things start to flow, they flow. Go with that flow. Smile and say, ‘I did that. I manifested that. I created that.’ Be aware that you create whatever it is, whether you consider it good or bad. Take responsibility and be aware that you created it. If you don’t like it, do something different next time.” When I asked Laurie Hays about this, she mentioned that it was important to dream. When it came to intention vs. not expecting, Laurie reminded me that it is about balance. She said, “Dream like a little kid. A little kid doesn’t say they want a bike. They say they want the red Schwinn with the bell and the horn. Put that out there and then say, ‘Or gifts greater than I know to ask.’ Then watch it come. When you see a little black bike go by, say, ‘It could have been, but it’s black.’ Don’t settle. “Your heart sings when you manifest. More will manifest until you get the one which makes your heart sing.” My take away from this discussion is that it is important to dream big and put that out to the Universe. Then, without expectation, sit back and see what happens. Be in the kind of vibrational alignment which allows your dreams to come to you. Be satisfied where you are and eager for more. What’s that old saying, “Push and Pray”? Do your part and ask the Universe to do its part too. One more thing -- the ultimate goal is Joy. The net result of everything you do in life, the reward and the goal, is joy. You are here to experience the thrill and excitement that physical life offers. The most important thing in life is the joy you receive within your heart in creating what you wish to manifest. As you set your intention, ask, “What would bring me joy?” I love having the kinds of friends and acquaintances where I can ask philosophical questions. If you have insights on expectations and intentions, please let me know. You can send your thoughts to [email protected]. Gail |
